ABOUT ME
I am a visual artist living and working in Farmington, Minnesota. I hold a degree in Fine Art from Gustavus Adolphus College. My work has been exhibited regionally at NEMAA's Art-A-Whirl, Saint Louis Park's FOTA Artist Showcase, and Saint Cloud's Essential Art exhibit. My first solo gallery show was at Cream City in Saint Cloud, where I exhibited my collection of cut paper artwork for the first time.
When not in the studio, I enjoy baking, gaming, and hiking with my better half, Nick.

ARTIST STATEMENT
My paper cut illustrations balance delicately between portrait and abstraction. Meticulously detailed and high in contrast, my work invites the viewer to engage intimately with representations of loss, anxiety, strength and power. In the play of positive and negative space I search for emotional equilibrium.
